In June of 2003, I visited Britain for the second time. Even though many are quick to say that it ALWAYS rains in Britain... it is simply not true. I experienced beautiful azure skies, fluffly white clouds and very
comfortable temperatures. |
In the following pages, you will find a collection of photos, information, history, personal observations and links of the places I visited.
I want to thank my friends (and you know who you are) in England for indulging me, in my love of castles, abbeys, sheep, Harry Potter and fish & chips and for calling me an Adopted Yorkshire Woman. Also for all the miles that we racked up going from one place to another, all the stops at the little souvenir shops that I'm so fond of and a comfortable place to stay where I felt welcome. All of it making my visit extremely enjoyable and memorable.
This website would have only been a sparkle in my eye, if it had not been for the patience, wisdom, sense of humour and a keen eye for missing HTML code of a friend of mine. "It's not the big things, it's the million little things." Thank you.
My trip starts in London... I hope you enjoy my diary.
